In April 2005, Brighton & Hove Radio Cabs acquired the Portslade based taxi company Carcabs 41 41 41 and in July 2006 they incorporated the Lancing based taxi company ABCA Taxis. The most recent addition to their portfolio of Companies is Station Taxis Shoreham, which became part of their fleet  in August 2008.

 

Carcabs 41 41 41, ABCA Taxis Lancing and Station Taxis Shoreham all serve our Adur district which covers Fishersgate, Southwick, Shoreham, Lancing and Sompting including the surrounding areas of Bramber, Beeding and Steyning. Together they have over 60 years combined service in the taxi trade within Adur. Carcabs 41 41 41 is very well known within Portslade and for over 30 years has served its local customers with a reliable and friendly taxi service. ABCA Taxis Lancing, also established over 30 years ago, has become the first choice for taxis in Lancing and Sompting with a loyal local customer base. Station Taxis Shoreham, which was formed more recently to serve its many customers in Shoreham, has also built a reputation for reliability and for providing a quality service.

 

Our vehicles working in Adur include saloons, estates, multi seaters for up to 8 passengers and wheelchair accessible vehicles. We are also now proud to be able to offer a selection of Executive Cars for those important or special occasions. We operate on a 24 hour basis, 365 days a year and can cater for any journey whether it be local or long distance. We also run a very popular and cost effective Airport Transfer Service, which enables you to experience door-to-door transport to or from any Airport without the hassle.

In our many years of serving the local residents and businesses within Adur, we have formed some strong working relationships with some high profile businesses including Shoreham Airport, AIG and the Ropetackle Arts Centre. Our fares within Adur are determined by the tariff which is set by Adur District Council, who are responsible for the licensing of our Adur vehicles. We therefore only charge the rates that are published on the Adur District Tariff Card, produced by Adur District Council, which are on display in all of our Adur vehicles.
